march to the theater this month

‘WHERE’ DID THE ADDAMS FAMILY GO?

It went to Broadway and from what we hear, the show is in great shape. Pictured on the front cover of Where magazine, they are set to draw that beautiful red curtain again, beginning March 8, revealing the ultimate dysfunctional family that Chicagoans fell in love with and soon New York will too.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET begins previews in March too. Chicago looms large on Broadway this month! And when both of these shows become big hits we can all say – we saw them in Chicago first!

What’s next this month at Broadway In Chicago….

Will we see you at the theater this month?

Awesome post Eileen! I can’t wait for Billy Elliot in Chicago. It’s going to be simply wonderful. I was wondering how I could write a Thank you letter to Broadway in Chicago? I’m not sure which address to use. Thanks!

Alex – Thanks for the support! Our administrative office address is 17 N. State Street, Suite 810, Chicago, 60602.

  3. I am definitely looking forward to The Addam’s Family. As a musical theater writer myself, I think it’s important for a show to have an honest “out of town” tryout and I think Chicago was a great place for that. I hope that the cast and creative team can push through some of the questionable buzz that has been stirred up this past winter and have a successful opening and run. I think some of the proponents of that buzz need to realize that a musical is constantly evolving and changing and that it’s all a part of the creative process-not to mention, focusing on the writers of the piece and not just the stars. So looking forward to it!
